ShiGong Luo Li

The King of Eagle Claw
Grand Master Luo Li is considered to be elite even among the professional martial artists in China. He was bestowed the title “King of Eagle Claw Style Kung Fu.” While he is alive, no one else may claim this title.

He has won many first place awards, and many other awards in the National Wushu Competitions of the People’s Republic of China. This includes winning first place men’s individual all around title on more than one occasion.

He taught professional martial arts at the Physical Education College of Chengdu in Sichuan Province China, for four and a half years.

He was part of the National Wushu Team of China for ten years and is a “Martial Arts Hero Class” athlete. He accompanied the Chinese Martial Arts Delegation to Germany, France, South Korea, and many other countries.

Sifu’s Goal
Sifu’s goal is to is to cultivate the body and mind through the education of Chinese martial arts. The academy is open in order to share the ancient art of China to all good people that wish to learn. The benefit of attending our academy is that students receive training directly from Sifu Luo Li. He also shares all of his knowledge and experience, “My goal is to make my student’s skill better than mine. That is a sign of a good teacher.”

Grandmaster Luo Li was born in 1964 in Sichuan Province in western China. He began his wushu training at the tender age of seven under the tutelage of several traditional wushu masters. Through hard work and perseverance, Grandmaster Luo Li became a member of the Sichuan Province Professional Wushu Team at the age of 15.

The Sichuan team is elite even among the professional level teams in China exhibiting the highest level of skill in every event. While a member of the Sichuan Professional Team, Grandmaster Luo Li was under the instruction of Grandmaster Dan Tsan Li. Grandmaster Dan Tsan Li was the first Chairman of Chinese Wushu. Grandmaster Dan Tsan LI trained many famous wushu practitioners throughout his life.

Among their ranks are:" The Monkey King ", numerous traditional national champions (Tong Bei), Wang Ping-women's 4 time consecutive all around champion, Pan Ying-originator of the first generation jian shu (straightsword play) and chiang shu (spear play) international compulsory routines, and "The King of Eagle Claw" (Grandmaster Luo Li)-this is a laudatory title that is his for the rest of his life.

Grandmaster Dan Tsan, Li's instructor (Grandmaster Tsun Huai Shien) brought the first Olympic Wushu Demo Team to perform at the ceremonies for the 1936 Games in Berlin, Germany. Grandmaster Luo Li has traveled throughout China to train with numerous wushu masters-such figures as Pan Ling Tai (who's student Yuen Wen Qing is a world renown wushu master).

Grandmaster Luo Li also holds a Bachelors Degree in Sports Education from the Chendu Sports College where (while attending) he was also an instructor in wushu classes and in sports fitness education.

Grandmaster Luo Li has achieved the Wu Yin (or "Hero") class of wushu practitioner in China. This is the highest level attainable in Chinese Wushu. Grandmaster Luo Li's former teammates are currently the head coaches of numerous Chinese Professional Wushu Teams.

ShiGong Luo Li's  school is currently in Orlando, Florida.  ShiGong Luo and Shifu Kimo speak regularly in order to ensure consistency in the teaching, technique, philosophies and principles. Shigong Luo Li plans to have bi annually visits to our St. Louis school.
