School Year Session and Summer Session

Our three main disciplines, USA Gymnastics, Artisitic Dance and Chinese Martial Arts are year 'round programs. The program year is broken into a School Year Training Session and a Summer Training Session. Although, each program has a tailored curriculum, for the most part, the School Year Session focuses on Progressions and Performance and the Summer Session focuses on Refinement. Summer Sessions also provide students with opportunities to work with guest artists, master class instructors and attend additional enrichment classes. Training with proper technique is always a focus.

Prices and Savings

NOTE: Tuition rates and Administrative Fees have NOT increased this season.
Prices reflect the same price/hour as the 2007/2008 season!
As always, additional family memebers receive 15% off their tuition. Single students receive discounts on multiple classes

Calendar of Quarters

For ease of tuition payments, sessions are divided into Quarters. Quarters are approximately 10 - 12 weeks in length. The Calendar of Terms for the 2008-2009 School year is as follows:

Tuition Due Date (TDD)

Tuition is due by the Tuition Due Date (TDD) for existing students. Please refer to the School Calendar to review TDD's. If Tuition is paid after the Tuition Due Date there will be an automatic $15.00 late fee applied to the account balance by our class software.

NOTE: If payment is not received by the end of the first class of the given term and unless prior arrangements have been made, the registration system will automatically drop the student from the class.

New students can join classes at any time (space permitting) and tuition is prorated accordingly.

Annual Registration Fee

The Annual Registration Fee is due upon initial registration and on your anniversary date, thereafter. These fees defray Technique Studios' administrative costs, including our ability to provide full-time Student Services assistance. Annual Family Membership Fee is $52 and single student fee is $38

Prices and Savings

Artistic Dance and Chinese Martial Arts share the same Tuition Rates. Gymnastics has its own pricing strucutre. For Dance and Martial Arts students, the"per hour " Tuition Rate decreases for each additional hour he/she attends. Dance and Martial Arts hours can be combined, for a single student, to decrease Tuition Rate per hour. Please see your individual program inserts for more information on pricing.

Make up Procedures

Just like college, your tuition pays for a space in class, regardless of attendance. However, whenever possible we will attempt to grant a make up request. If granted, make ups must be completed before the end of the quarter in which they occur. The decision whether or not to provide a make up is at the discretion of your Program Director. Technique Studios reserves the right to refuse to offer a make up if we feel it will affect safety or lessen the experience of those students who have registered for and paid for that class.

Safety Notice

Technique Studios is not equipped to supervise children before or after classes. Parents of children who are too young to supervise themselves for bathroom breaks are to stay ON SITE during their child's class. After class, Perschool through 2nd grade students will be released from the classroom only to visible and known guardians. Parents must be at the appropriate pickup area when class ends. Thank you for helping facilitate safety for all children!

Return Check Fee

There will be a $35.00 returned check charge for any checkes returned by the bank.

Refund Policy

·Technique Studios does not offer refunds for missed classes due to sickness, vacation or scheduling conflicts. Students should inquire about make-up class alternatives in these cases. (See Make-up Procedures).

·In case of injury, Technique Studios should be notified in writing, with medical certificates, and the decision to refund will be on a case by case basis.

·If a class is canceled as a result of inclement weather or instructor conflict, an alternative class will be offered. Refunds do not apply.
